BOOK ENDS- We are collecting books to donate to a needy school. Clean out your book shelves and bring the books to Grade 4. Through Book Ends, students have the opportunity to change their lives and the lives of others through community service.
Teaser – The 8th grade will perform one of their songs from the musical as a teaser for the students on Tuesday at 12:30.
Tuesday is the first day of March.
The 8th grade students will be taking their Cap & Gown pictures on Wednesday, March 2nd. Students will begin taking pictures after the morning assembly. Boys are to bring a dress shirt and tie. Girls remember to keep the make-up to a minimum. In order to receive pictures, payment must be made at the time of sitting.

The Student Council will begin selling Valentine Grams Tuesday of this week. Grams will be selling for $.25 per gram.
Membership in the CJSF is based on 7th and 8th grade semester grades (January and June grades). The federation has set up the following rubric in order to be a member of the CJSF.
Grades are assigned a point value – Grades for each academic class are counted – A minimum of 12 points are required
Grades of A = 3 points Grades of B = 1 point
Grades of C = 0 points

So much to do…So little time! We are within one month of opening night and there is still so much to do. It is imperative that all students attend all rehearsals from this day forward. It is next to impossible to stage, block, complete choreography and fit costumes when students are missing rehearsals. Please remember that parents and students alike signed a letter of commitment agreeing to attend rehearsals. Our pianist will be attending rehearsal once a week and it is important that each cast member becomes familiar with singing and dancing to live music.
